Central Vermont Career Center

Our offerings for the 2015-2016 school year show a range of programing for 11th and 12th graders (and 10th grade ExploratoryTech options) that reflects the needs and interests of our geographic region. It is our goal to prepare our students for high-growth careers and access to post secondary options that encourage life long learning. Our instructors are knowledgeable and skilled in their career studies and continue to offer rigorous, relevant programs of study that apply classroom-based instruction and workbased learning to meet academic, employability, and technical industry standards. We continue to support and enrich our partnerships among K–12 schools, institutions of higher education, and employers across our region. We have a Cooperative Education program for students applying for a second year experience in their program that includes a new robust admissions process (please see description below) and will work with all students in obtaining a work experience while attending CVCC. We support improving teacher quality and effectiveness through a strong foundation of professional development activities both locally and across the state. We are here to serve you and look forward to working with families in the coming years.
